Hatha

Hatha - HA meaning sun and THA meaning moon. Hatha Yoga is the practice of harmonising the body's currents (principally the currents of Feeling, Thinking, Willing and Acting) until they are in perfect balance.
Hatha Yoga, is a combination of asanas (physical exercises and postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and meditation. It is said to provide a balanced and wholesome approach to achieving perfect physical and mental health, happiness and tranquility.

Breathing (Pranayama) The main purposes of pranayama are to purify the system and to calm and regulate the mind. Pranayama purifies the nervous system and eliminates toxins from the body and blood. It helps in the healing of asthma and other respiratory disorders. With proper breathing you can eliminate the excess mucous which causes hay fever and sinus discomfort. You can activate the blood's circulation and stimulate the entire body quickly.
Pranayama produces a lightness in the body, alertness of the mind, a good appetite, proper digestion and sound sleep.

Deep Relaxation (Yoga Nidra) is one of the most beneficial techniques we can practice. It is a great stress-deduction technique. When you relax deeply, your digestion and blood circulation improves; your mind becomes clearer; your mood lightens and stays this way for several hours. When you experience pure relaxation often and regularly, the quality of your life improves. Pure relaxation also strengthens the immune system, meaning you can fight illness and disease much better than when you are stressed.

Integral Yoga
Integral Yoga is a combination of specific methods to develop every aspect of the individual; physical, intellectual and spiritual. A system which integrates the various branches of Yoga in order to bring about the complete and harmonious development of the individual.
